This video tutorial shows CentOS 6.9 Installation on VMware Workstation/Player step by step. This tutorial is also helpful to install CentOS Linux 6.9 on physical computer or laptop hardware. We also install VMware Tools on CentOS for better performance and usability features such as Fit Guest Now, Drag-Drop File and Clipboard Sharing.
Steps:
1- Download CentOS 6.9 ISO
2- Create Virtual Machine on VMware Workstation/Player
3- Start CentOS Linux Installation
4- Install VMware Tools
5- Test VMware Tools Features: Fit Guest Now, Drag-Drop File and Clipboard Sharing
What is CentOS Linux?
CentOS Linux is a community-supported distribution derived from sources freely provided to the public by Red Hat for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). As such, CentOS Linux aims to be functionally compatible with RHEL. The CentOS Project mainly changes packages to remove upstream vendor branding and artwork. CentOS Linux is no-cost and free to redistribute. Each CentOS version is maintained for up to 10 years (by means of security updates — the duration of the support interval by Red Hat has varied over time with respect to Sources released). A new CentOS version is released approximately every 2 years and each CentOS version is periodically updated (roughly every 6 months) to support newer hardware. This results in a secure, low-maintenance, reliable, predictable and reproducible Linux environment.

CentOS 6.9 New Features and Improvements
CentOS Linux 6.9 is derived from source code released by Red Hat, Inc. for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.9. All upstream variants have been placed into one combined repository to make it easier for end users. Workstation, server and minimal installs can all be done from our combined repository. There are many fundamental changes in this release, compared with the past CentOS Linux 6 releases.

It's not taking me to that window
is centos 6.9 stable? I've reinstalled it 3 times now. I am having more trouble than I have ever had with Centos. I am almost tempted to go to Ubuntu… But dang it I love Redhat/Centos.
Why do you remove the USB Controller, Soundcard and Printer from the hardware? Will it prevent it from working correctly?
