Is this possible in Linux Betsy?
Yep! unable to create hotspot. When it creates eventually not a single device can see this hotspot! New button create hotspot works 1 time in 10 tries…. useless. Tired of searching for normal distro. Probably will migrate to OS X

Now with linux mint 17.1 it's even easier. you just go to network setting and you click on create a wireless hotspot and it's done! 🙂
My Wireless Hotspot panel doesn't have an Options button so I can't configure it 🙁
