  • Great work at making such a great video LearnLinuxTv!

There's also the option of using Cloudways, a managed cloud hosting platform. You can launch your server and deploy the application on Cloudways. So, for a person like me that's not a coder it's pretty simple and easy. 😀

  • Unicorn emoji as PS1 prompt = Linux God

  • My question is
How i am check someone Server traffic is this possible

  • which distro you are commonly using

  • Love digitalocean

  • So once you connect in the terminal can you open a desktop of the distribution? Just wondering if this would be a way to try different distributions?

  • Not a question about the video but since it's the latest video I thought I'd post it here. My Samsung Notebook N150 plus has had Linux mint on it since 2015,used it for a couple of months after the installation but then stopped using it until this year. I recently installed linux mint 19.1 cinnamon, haven't used it because of some issues, now I wish to remove Linux and install windows 10pro. After installing windows, I will then re-install Linux on a dual boot. My question is how do I do this, since I ran into a problem because it says "Windows can't be installed on drive 0 partition 1. But that is the only drive(option) that is there.
The details read:" Windows cannot be installed to this hard disk space. Windows must be installed to a partition formatted as NTFS.

Windows cannot be installed to this hard disk space. The partition is of an unrecognized type."
    Hope you can help me.

  • On Windows you can also use PowerShell to connect to the server.
It comes with Windows by default and you connect to the server the same way you do with Terminal on Linux.
I kind of like it when you don't need a third party software like Putty. I didn't really like Putty.

  • Jay I am about 2/3 of the way through your book, Mastering Ubuntu Server. And I just want to say, Thank You So Much!

I've been tinkering with Linux since 2009, at times entertaining a career in System Administration. Though I am a web developer by trade, learning more about the platform used to host the things I create has always been of keen interest to me.

You really created a great pathway through all the various topics that are important for new Linux Admins to learn. Your book is both entertaining AND edifying.

    Once again: thanks!

PS: I also use Linode. Their platform is dope!

  • I am using linux Mint, so which option do I use.

  • First like. First view. First one here. 😊😊
