to day I will show you how to fix update and upgrade problem on kali linux 2016.
=========================================================
step 1: go to :
=========================================================
step 2: download 2 packets bellow:
(press CTRL+F on your keyboard to search packetname)
(if your kali is x64 bit platform)
libapt-pkg5.0_1.3~pre3_amd64.deb
apt_1.3~pre3_amd64.deb
——————————————
(if your kali is x86 bit platform)
libapt-pkg5.0_1.3~pre3_amd64.deb
apt_1.3~pre3_i386.deb
=========================================================
step 3: run bellow command:
apt-get remove apt
– type ‘Yes, do as I say!’ to agree and remove apt packet
=========================================================
step 4: run bellow command to reinstall apt packet:
dpkg -i libapt-pkg5.0_1.3~pre3_amd64.deb
dpkg -i apt_1.3~pre3_amd64.deb
(with x86bit platform. run dpkg -i with your files downloaded.)
