sudo apt update
sudo apt install mysql-server
sudo mysql
ALTER USER ‘root’@’localhost’ IDENTIFIED WITH mysql_native_password BY ‘password’;
FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
exit
mysql -u root -p

enter root password for mysql
