The following chipsets are suported –
Broadcom BCM4311, BCM4312, BCM4313, BCM4321, BCM4322, BCM43224, BCM43225, BCM43227, BCM43228, BCM43142, BCM4331, BCM4352, BCM4360 devices (wl)
Here are the commands –
Add a “non-free” component to /etc/apt/sources.list for your Debian version
deb jessie main contrib non-free
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install linux-image-$(uname -r|sed ‘s,[^-]*-[^-]*-,,’) linux-headers-$(uname -r|sed ‘s,[^-]*-[^-]*-,,’) broadcom-sta-dkms
sudo modprobe -r b44 b43 b43legacy ssb brcmsmac bcma
sudo modprobe wl

But I don't have internet connection in my linux, how can I install it offline?
Cheers genius now my machine don't recognize the adapter at all , it was telling me chipset was unknown report this but at least the thing connected to the internet now the adapter is gone

None of this works for me. on first command I get:
bash: deb: command not found
On second command I get:
apt-get update
Ign:1 http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian stable InRelease

and for the long command I get:

E: Unable to locate package linux-headers-amd64

At this point I am lost and have no idea why none of it is working. I would greatly appreciate any help. Thank you

Hello my driver is broadcom bcm43142, im running kali linux with debian 7 (64bit) The thing is my eth0 and lo are up when i type ifconfig. I dont have an internet connection on my laptop currently.Ive got net on my mobile so can i like connect my mobile to laptop as usb tethering and will i be able to use internet on the virtual machine? If so how?If not help me do this offline!Sorry for the long thread. Keep it up! 😀

I have a problem with this. I have tried everything I see in the internet but I am still no able to put internet to my computer. I tried your solution. My question is if this can work if I have my Dell computer that does not come with ethernet card. because when I try to change the sources.list and I do get-apt update it suppose to update from the links provide it. right? so I do not know what else to do. please help

Using a Macbook Pro Late 2013 with a Broadcom 4360 WL, installed Kali 2016.1 with persistence on a bootable USB. Ive installed the broadcom drivers but when I try modprobe wl I get the error :Module not found" help?
