  • Hi! I am trying to start into the AVR programming, I installed everything – I assume, as I have seen so many sources -, but I still cannot see the AVR menu in the project properties, under the "Resource". As well, I cannot select the MCU Type when configuring the new proyect… I already installed AVRDude. Do you have any clue of what might be missing? I use Linux Mint. Thanks in advance!

Why didn't you just create a udev rule for your AVR programmer? Then you wouldn't have to run avrdude as root.

  • Good video. In your menu there is AVR but I could not get it when I open eclipse after installation. Do we need to configure eclipse to get such AVR menu item in eclipse?
