Thank you for videos. I'm new to this channel and Linux. I tried Linux mint on HDD but the USB even though selected to legacy support doesn't work during instalation. Does it have to be PS2? wired and wireless doesn't work but the USB mouse does. Thanks

  • Can anybody tell me how to update the bios from Linux? I have peppermint 10 installed on a lenovo G550 with a 2.3ghz dual core pentium core with 2gb of ram. I want to update the bios to see if I can upgrade my ram to 8gb

  • 13:08 satanic edition in red lol!

  • Just a quick note to save newer viewers of this video a lot of heartache. The instructor is using an older version of Ubuntu (15) which, by default comes with the Unity desktop. Newer installs of Ubuntu (I'm using 19 but 18 is the same) do NOT come with the Unity Desktop, but instead comes with Gnome only. So your dock won't look the same and while you'll be able to install the Unity Tweak Tool, it will not work. Once they get into the meat of the Linux system (i.e. the CLI), you'll be OK. Just all these configs and things up front might leave you a little bit frustrated.

  • using time stamps the way you did, was awesome!

  • so this is what need know if going for as administrator. people think linux is easy. this not tell how correct GPU drivers that was working BEFORE last update when system not boot anymore.it was work before. no need update something that work. clicked update BOOM and it only update text editor and GPU drivers not work. linux in nutshell

  • Thank you sir, my tequila consumption is way, way down since studying your video.

  • Is this course required watching before starting your Linux Administration Course Bundle? Or does this cover the same stuff as the Beginners Guide to Linux System Administration course? Also, has much changed in Linux since this video was published?

  • Oh wow, a Linux tutorial with an Indian accent!

  • This is what i gonna sleep to

  • I love you – navigating directories was killing me

  • Priceless.

  • Can I learn Linux in 2020 with this course?

  • why did you waste 7 hours on teaching us on UBUNTU? who the fuck use the UBUNTU distribution in working environments. I tried to install CentOS watching your tutorial but it s absolut useless! Cheeseus fucking Crise!

  • Absolute gold!

  • Anyone know if the non-debian derivative distro Solus 4.0 is in anyway related to my favorite but discontinued distro names SolusOS which was debian based. Loved my quick tour of Solus 4.0 but was surprised it doesn't use apt-get as I'd assumed it was debian derived. Any users here? Thx.

  • does this apply for debian too? or this is for ubuntu only?

  • Im up installed…but i couldnt figure out how to get vega driver installed…or any hardware monitoring…this is for advanced User…

  • Took me a moment to find the answer, but it's worth noting for everyone learning on the newer versions that Unity Tweak Tool doesn't work anymore. I used Gnome Tweak Tool, works the same way but preinstalled.
