Thank you for videos. I'm new to this channel and Linux. I tried Linux mint on HDD but the USB even though selected to legacy support doesn't work during instalation. Does it have to be PS2? wired and wireless doesn't work but the USB mouse does. Thanks

Just a quick note to save newer viewers of this video a lot of heartache. The instructor is using an older version of Ubuntu (15) which, by default comes with the Unity desktop. Newer installs of Ubuntu (I'm using 19 but 18 is the same) do NOT come with the Unity Desktop, but instead comes with Gnome only. So your dock won't look the same and while you'll be able to install the Unity Tweak Tool, it will not work. Once they get into the meat of the Linux system (i.e. the CLI), you'll be OK. Just all these configs and things up front might leave you a little bit frustrated.

Is this course required watching before starting your Linux Administration Course Bundle? Or does this cover the same stuff as the Beginners Guide to Linux System Administration course? Also, has much changed in Linux since this video was published?

Anyone know if the non-debian derivative distro Solus 4.0 is in anyway related to my favorite but discontinued distro names SolusOS which was debian based. Loved my quick tour of Solus 4.0 but was surprised it doesn't use apt-get as I'd assumed it was debian derived. Any users here? Thx.

Took me a moment to find the answer, but it's worth noting for everyone learning on the newer versions that Unity Tweak Tool doesn't work anymore. I used Gnome Tweak Tool, works the same way but preinstalled.
