Hello Everyone! Welcome to XPSTECH! In this video, I will give my pick of top 5 linux distro which serves as best windows alternative. Recently Microsoft retired windows 7 OS, which was the best version of windows ever. Windows 7 was released in 2009 and has the highest market among desktop OS for the longest time. Now that the support for Windows OS has ended, there are two options that you have as a windows 7 user. One is to upgrade to windows 10 or you can switch to a windows like linux distro. If you select the second option, this video is for you.
Remember these distros are selected strictly due to their resemblance to Windows OS. There are other great linux distros available but didn’t make into the list due to being not windows like.

Can you run autocad, sketchup, lumion, 3dsmax??
Can they run Facebook video call? Is microphone working there? Test that on Linux.

there is only one or two good windows is the XP and 10 LTSB ….the common windows 10 is shit for microsoft intrusion in people's lives , to me the top one is the new Ubuntu or linux distros
Have you tried FEDORA and SOLUS? I currently use Win 7 Pro. Which Linux distro has the following from Windows: NO SLEEP mode for the Motherboard AND the SSDs; ANTICIPATORY typing, NOT FOUND msg when searching, (active) PREVIEW thumbnail panes, semi-transparent, fade in/fade out menus with 3D borders, and hide/reveal task bar?

choose linux mint 19.3 cinnamon why? because its based on Ubuntu u will get all soft wares easily.it has one of the best software center one click install,very stable,in top 3 linux,has hex chat by default u can ask for support,u can use ppa for easily for new software,it is like windows,never crash and its on kernel 5 supporting more hardware.Trust me i tried others like 30+ distro linux mint is the one very less errors idle for long time primary os. I play game,do programming,and watch movies I recommend it.

Linux Lite. XFCE desktop. Very like 7, light on resources, stable.Does what it says on the box.
Is there ever really, just one?? for me, I would use windows 10 or Mac for real computing, but I have adlaptop to play around with linux stuff, I tried am lot of them, and will continue to do so. Mint is nice, it just works., Solus I so wanted it to work a very cool Idea, but not for me, and most KDE, so sad, for me, and yes, it is probably me, I just could not get it to work the way I wanted it to.. I have a home network, and KDE no matter the distro, always needed to download the mkv to play it, Mint, yeah, just played it. The way it should be.
I like to run both Manjaro KDE and MX-19 (XFCE).
zorin os does not run the latest verion of windows office you can get a older version run throught wine that is installed by defult on zorin os, would not recommend it thought i have a kernel update on it that broke my system, went linux mint instead.
I swear windows is such a broken OS… I have an absolutely unsolvable network issue with it. Even when I do a fresh install. But… when I hop on Linux Mint my internet is completely good.
